BOWIE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Prince George's County Fire and Rescue officials say no one was injured after a fire at a home in Bowie.

According to a tweet by spokesperson Mark Brady, "heavy fire" was showing from the home in the 12400 block of Sandal Lane.

The house was in foreclosure, but at least one person was living in it, Brady said. The relationship between the occupant(s) and the homeowner is being investigated.

Two small dogs were found in the house after the fire was extinguished, Brady tweeted. A chihuahua was "near death" but was revived after receiving oxygen, he said.

The fire's cause and origin is still under investigation, Brady said. Damage estimates are approximately $100,000.
