WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) -- It's a new year but everyone should still remind their buddy early detection matters. While the controversy of the timing of screenings will continue to spur debate in 2010 there is no argument that a healthy lifestyle goes a long way in cancer prevention.

WUSA 9NEWS NOW's Andrea Roane spoke with registered dietitian Lynda McIntyre who shares with us five small changes that can make a big difference in your breast health.  Linda says these tips; maintaining healthy body weight, eating your fruit and vegetables, bulking up on fibers, cutting down on the cocktails and making exercise a habit can keep your risk of getting breast cancer lower.
