ASHBURN, Va. (AP) - The Washington Redskins are trying to stay united.

The Redskins are 3-7, in last place in the NFC East. They've also had their usual share of drama, whether it's centered on quarterback Robert Griffin III, coach Mike Shanahan's future, the ongoing debate over the team's name or some other distraction.

Defensive captain London Fletcher said there's "not about to be some type of unraveling." He said the locker room culture is much better than in 2009, when the Redskins finished 4-12 and coach Jim Zorn was fired.

The Redskins will be home underdogs Monday night against the San Francisco 49ers.
