WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- DC Mayor Gray is still keeping supporters and reporters in the dark about whether he will seek re-election.
Candidates for DC Mayor begin picking up petitions on Friday.
The Mayor has told associates to expect a decision later this month. He said on Wednesday he could get the required 2,00 signatures in a matter of days.
This reporter wanted to know if he would be running as a favorite or an underdog given the federal investigations and criticisms of his past campaign that have landed several guilty pleas from some of Gray's campaign staffers.
The Mayor has said he did nothing wrong and did not know about the irregularities and crimes of others.
He has said voters made the correct choice in voting him in over the then incumbent Mayor Adrian Fenty.
