GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WUSA9) -- A man is in critical condition after a car hit him while he was crossing a road, officials said.
The incident happened on Friday around 8:30 p.m. around the northbound Crain Highway, north of Hospital Drive in Glen Burnie when a man was struck by a 2005 Toyota Corolla. The pedestrian Donald Wayne Warfield, 55 was taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center, police said.
The driver of the car, James Raymond O'Leary, 50 did not sustain any injuries, officials said.
Initial investigation reveals that the crash is a pedestrian error and excessive speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in this crash, police said.
