WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- According to reports, someone may have been soldering before firefighters responded to a fire at 2000 Pennsylvania Avenue NW on Thursday morning.
According to DC Fire officials, firefighters arrived at 10:47 a.m. to find that the building had been evacuated. Officials tell us it took firefighters a while to find the fire, which was hidden in the walls on the third floor of the building.
Officials say the fire was put out about 11:45 a.m.
There were no injuries, according to officials.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
