DC police search for four suspects in sexual assault and burglary

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WUSA9) -- The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in identifying four suspects in a first degree sexual assault and burglary.

The incident occurred Wednesday at approximately 2 a.m. in the 4200 block of Southern Ave., SE, police said.

Three victims entered the location and found four suspects inside, armed and masked, holding five other occupants of the home against their will in the basement, police said.

The suspects then forced the three victims downstairs, police said. The first victim was taken into a separate room where the suspects demanded money, made threats to inflict bodily harm, and then physically and sexually assaulted him.

The second and third victims were also physically assaulted, police said.
