FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA9) -- An arrest warrant has been obtained for a suspect in Wednesday's bank robbery in Frederick, Md.
Investigators have identified Timothy S. Halsey, 43, of no fixed address, as the suspect and have obtained an arrest warrant on charges of robbery and theft between $1,000 and $10,000.
Police say the robbery happened at approximately 9:34 a.m. Wednesday at the BB&T Bank located at 5825 Buckeystown Pike in Frederick.
Deputies canvassed the area and located a car matching the suspect's vehicle at a Frederick motel, officials said.
Police observed a man, later identified as Halsey, matching the suspect's description leaving a motel room. He was taken into custody, along with two women.
During a search, Halsey and one of the women were found to be in possession of cash believed to have been from the bank robbery, police said.
The woman, identified as Keisha M. Butler, 35, of Libertytown, Md., was also found to be in possession of cocaine, police said. She was arrested on charges of possession of cocaine and possession with intent to distribute.
