Two suspects steal $1,800 worth of items from store

FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA9) --  Police are searching for two suspects in connecting to two shoplifting incidents in Md. 

The man and woman are wanted for the shoplifting incidents that happened on July 17 and August 27 of this year at the Weis Markets in Spring Ridge Parkway, police said.

The male suspect distracted store employees while the female suspect filled her car with items that included baby formula, diapers and paper towels. She then walked out of the store without paying for the items and drove off in what officials believe is a silver PT Cruiser, police said.

The female suspect is described as white, 40-50 years of age with black hair.  The male suspect is described as black, 40-50 years of age, 6'01", and bald.  

They stole around $1,800 worth of goods. Anyone with information is asked to call Police at 301-600-7150.
