(USA Today) -- As boy wizard Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe stayed pretty covered up, but now the actor is becoming known for showing some serious skin.
Radcliffe first stripped down in 2008 for Broadway's Equus, and this year he has shown some skin in three movies - but he told Ellen DeGeneres on Friday that it's "not intentional."
"I'm comfortable with it, but I do like to point out, I don't request it," he jokes.
"You do take your clothes off a lot," teased DeGeneres. "In a lot of things."
But the 24-year-old actor chalks it up to pure work: "They're jobs," says Radcliffe, adding that he doesn't strip off in public.
Radcliffe even admitted to a conversation with an actress friend, who has also done a lot of nude scenes, in which he told her that he worried they were "going to start getting called exhibitionists."
The actor plays beat poet Allen Ginsberg in the new film Kill Your Darlings.
