SILVER SPRING, Md. (WUSA) -- Composing music with computers at Loiederman Middle School in Silver Spring Maryland is so cool!  Ms Carson's music lab has 32 Mac Computers connected to Roland keyboards.

Using software like Garage Band and Sebelius 6, students are creating original songs and playing them too.  Because the computers are networked together,  while Ms Carson sits at her workstation in the front of the room, she  can peak in on every student's desk top at once.

That enables her to give individual attention to the beginners and advanced students alike.
