(WUSA9) --- Here are the hot Affordable Care Act topics for November 4th.

1. The Washington Post: For consumers whose health premiums will go up under new law, sticker shock leads to anger

According to the Post, there is a growing backlash against Obamacare from those people now forced to find alternative policies because their individual ones didn't meet the minimum requirements.

They're learning they will face higher premiums and higher deductibles.

2. CNN Money: 6 other Obamacare promises -- and these are very much coming true

This opinion article lists six promises that are still in effect despite the abysmal turnout and growing backlash.

Among the promises listed include:

a. You will no longer be denied insurance because of a pre-existing condition.

b. Your insurance will no longer be cut off due to spending caps.

3. USA Today: Health law may strain mental health system

According to this article, the Affordable Care Act will expand coverage for 32 million new patients.

That means there very well might not be enough resources to keep up with the demand.
