Adam Henrique scored twice while Patrik Elias and Jaromir Jagr also scored for the Devils, who had won three of four coming in. Cory Schneider gave up all seven goals on 32 shots.

Sunrise, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Roberto Luongo stopped all 25 shots he faced in his reintroduction to Florida, helping the Panthers record a 2-0 victory over Buffalo on Friday. Luongo was acquired in a shocking deal from the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday for goaltender Jacob Markstrom and forward Shawn Matthias. He spent five seasons with the club from 2000-06, earning two of his six All-Star nods and winning a franchise-record 108 games. He extended his own franchise mark with his 27th whitewash and 66th career shutout in the winning effort. Sean Monahan also tallied during the rally, while Markus Granlund added a first-period short-handed goal for the Flames, winners in seven of their last 11 overall. Joni Ortio came up with 23 saves for the win. Colin McDonald, Kyle Okposo and Brock Nelson lit the lamp for the Islanders, who fell to 1-1-1 on their four-game Canadian road trip. Anders Nilsson made only 19 stops in the loss.

Anaheim, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Brandon Sutter scored the winner in the sixth round of the shootout as Pittsburgh took a 3-2 win over Anaheim in a battle of conference leaders at Honda Center. In the sixth round, Sutter went to the backhand and lifted it high past Jonas Hiller. Ryan Getzlaf had the last chance for Anaheim, but he missed with a backhand attempt. Evgeni Malkin had a goal and an assist and Deryk Engelland also scored for the Penguins, who hold a three-point lead over Boston for the top spot in the Eastern Conference. Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 29 shots in the win. Corey Perry had both goals for the Ducks, who lead the Western Conference and the NHL with 93 points, three better than St. Louis. Hiller turned away 15 shots in the loss.
