STERLING, Va. (WUSA9) -- A new parkway west of Dulles Airport may not be as big of a boost to the economy as supporters claim.

The Bi-County Parkway would connect Loudoun and Prince William counties.

Supporters say it will help boost cargo traffic at Dulles, but a new study out of George Mason University finds that it would only be an eight percent increase. According to the Washington Post, that wouldn't offset the declines in air cargo over the last few years.
