STAFFORD, Va. (WUSA9) -- The Stafford County Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect in the robbery of the Sally's Beauty Supply store in Washington Square in South Stafford on July 11, who is also a person of interest in two robberies in Spotsylvania County.

The same man is believed to have robbed two Sally's Beauty Supply stores in Stafford County and in Spotsylvania County. He may have also robbed a Payless store in Spotsylvania County, say authorities.

In the Stafford County incident, authorities say a man entered the Sally's Beauty Supply store on July 11, pulled a handgun on the employees and took money from the store safe and two cash drawers. He was last seen walking out of the store. Then, within an hour of the Stafford robbery, authorities say the same man robbed a Payless Store in Spotsylvania County. He is also a suspect in a robbery at a Sally's Beauty Supply in Spotsylvania County on June 25, 2013.

A Stafford County deputy was able to get a photograph of man who robbed a Game Stop Store in Raleigh, North Carolina from detectives there. The suspect in that robbery is similar in appearance to the person who robbed the businesses in Stafford County and Spotsylvania County, say authorities. Detectives from Virginia and North Carolina are trying to determine the man's identity.

The Stafford County Sheriff' Office is requesting that if anyone knows the identity of the man to contact the Stafford County Sheriff's Office at 540-658-4400, call Stafford Crime Solvers at 540-659-2020 or text "Stafford + your tip to CRIMES (27463).
