WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA)-- Some young Adults (18-24) who say they've given up hope or are looking for a way to turn their lives around and become productive citizens have found help with Year Up.

The organization requires a one year commitment from the students, during which they'll learn computer skills and intern with participating companies.

Most of their graduates are hired after graduation.

Owen Modwamwen says this program is about taking advantage of the opportunity given by Year Up.

Owen and Ronda Thompson-Harris, Executive Director of Year Up joined our Jessica Doyle with how the program works and how you can take advantage of it.
