TILGHMAN ISLAND, Md. (WUSA9) -- A military service dog has gone missing and the owner is now offering $3,000 for her return - no questions asked.

Abby, an 18-month-old female Rottweiler, went missing on July 4th from her home in Tilghman Island, Maryland. Abby comforts wounded and sick servicemen and women recovering at Walter Reed Army Medical Center for the non-profit, Operation Second Chance.

Cindy McGrew, founder/president of the non-profit and Abby's owner, says the Rottweiler also has medical needs that require medication.

McGrew has started a Facebook page and YouTube video in hopes that someone will come forward with information about Abby's whereabouts.
