ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (WUSA9) -- Howard County police say a Pikesville man died in a two-car collision this weekend.
Ninety-one-year-old Joseph Kryszpel of Pikesville was driving a Lincoln Town Car eastbound on Baltimore National Pike in the westbound lanes at 6:32 p.m. on Saturday, say police. His car then collided head-on with a Toyota Camry traveling westbound just east of Marriottsville Road.
Kryszpel was taken to Howard County General Hospital where he was pronounced dead, say police. The other driver was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma and is listed in stable conidtion as of Monday morning, according to police.
The road was closed for approximately two hours.
