LARGO, Md. (WUSA9) -- The Prince George's County Department of Public Works and Transportation is preparing to mobilize crews on Tuesday to deal with snow.
Crews will be deployed to apply salt to roadways and plow the snow, say DPW&T.
According to WUSA 9 Meteorologist Howard Bernstein "Another storm will approach Tuesday with the threat of more snow, rain for parts south like st Mary's & Southern Calvert. This will be a quick hitter, mainly between 6 AM & Noon with a general 2"-4" snowfall, possibly higher in some heavier bands."
County officials are asking residents to continue parking on the even-numbered sides of residential streets or in their driveways. Residents are also asked to shovel their driveways after plowing has occurred and to remove snow/ice from the sidewalks near their homes.
To report snow conditions on your street, wait 12 hours after the precipitation has stopped and call CountyClick at 311 or the Snow Information Center at 301-350-0500. Residents may also visit the County's website at www.princegeorgescountymd.gov to report snow conditions via the Snow Request Form.
