Woman dies in Hagerstown after being hit by 2 cars

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) - The Washington County Sheriff's Office says a woman is dead after being struck by two cars in Hagerstown.

The sheriff's office says the accident happened at East Magnolia Avenue and Hollymead Terrace on Sunday at around 6:15 p.m. The sheriff's office says the woman was hit by the driver of a Nissan Versa as she walked in the roadway and was then struck by a pickup truck.

The sheriff's office says both drivers stopped to help the woman, but she later died at a hospital.

The sheriff's office did not release the woman's name but said she was 49 years old.
