MARYLAND (WUSA9) -- Police are looking for a suspect in connection to two bank robberies in Maryland.
The first robbery took place on Monday around 1:55 p.m. at the PNC Bank located inside Giant Foods at 12051 Rockville Pike. The suspect walked up to the teller, demanded money after saying he had a gun and then left with an undisclosed amount. The second robbery took place today at a PNC Bank at 10211 Old Georgetown Road in Bethesda. The suspect showed a note to the teller demanding money and left with undisclosed amount, police said.
Police believe the same suspect is responsible for both robberies.
He is being described as a black male, 30 to 40 years old, around 5'8? to 5'10? inches tall.
