ROCKVILLE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Crews were on the scene for a water main break around 9:00 a.m. this morning.
Officials received a call of 'significant amount of water bubbling up to the surface on Southlawn Lane near East Gude Drive in Rockville, MD'. When crews arrived, the found a ruptured 12 inch main in the commercial area. It affected almost 44 customers.
The repairs are still not finished. Officials said that cold weather appears to be the main cause of the water main break.
