GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Anne Arundel County police have arrested a man who they say stole three cars from a Maryland car dealer.

Raheem Anderson, 44, of Glen Burnie has been charged with 2nd and 4th degree burglary, theft $10,000-$100,000, Malicious Destruction of Property and theft less than $1,000.

Police say at 7:11 a.m. Thursday, Anderson smashed a rear window of the KB Auto Emporium, which he then ransacked.

The owner reported that a 2008 Chrysler 300, a 2006 BMW 750i and a 2007 Mercedes 350 were stolen, along with an unknown amount of new motor vehicle tags.

The surveillance system confirms that a suspect entered the business and was last seen leaving the lot in the Mercedes.

A few hours later, at 10:08 a.m., police tried to stop the Mercedes. Anderson failed to stop, which resulted in a hit and run. Anderson fled on foot and was apprehended, officials said.

He was treated at BWMC and then transported to Eastern District.

The 2008 Chrysler was located on Browns Cove Rd. The 2006 BMW 750i is still missing at this time, officials said.
