Md. Ultra Diamonds jewelry store theft suspects sought

HANOVER, Md. (WUSA9) -- Anne Arundel County police need your help locating two suspects in connection with a jewelry store theft.

It happened at approximately 2:01 p.m. on Tuesday at Ultra Diamonds jewelry store in the 7000 block of Arundel Mills Circle, officials said.

The manager told police that a suspect carrying a yellow plastic bag entered the store and began looking at the display cases. When he reached the watch display case, the suspect pulled a hammer from the bag and broke the glass, taking three "Rolex" watches, officials said.

The suspect fled and met with a second suspect. Both suspects then left the mall and ran towards the parking lot, officials said.

Police released the following suspect descriptions:

Suspect #1: Black male, 17-23 years of age, 5'5"- 5'9" with long dread lock style hair, wearing a black sweatshirt, blue jeans and carrying a yellow plastic bag.
Suspect #2:  Black male, 17-23 years of age, 5'9"-6'0" with a beard, wearing a baseball cap, a dark-colored shirt and blue jeans.

None of the employees were injured.
