Nicole Gray charged with attempted 2nd degree murder for hitting women with car

Nicole Gray, charged with attempted second degree murder, second degree assault and first degree assault

OXON HILL, Md. (WUSA9) -- Prince George's County Sheriff's Office authorities say deputies arrested a woman for allegedly hitting other women with her car and then dragging one approximately 60 feet.

Nicole Gray is charged with attempted second degree murder, second degree assault and first degree assault stemming from events on September 4 in Oxon Hill, say authorities. Gray reportedly sideswiped a parked car in the 5400 block of Livingston Road then got into a verbal exchanged with the owner fo the car and a witness. When the women stood in front of her car to try to keep her from leaving the scene, authorities say Gray hit both women with her car. Authorities tell us one of the women was dragged approximately 60 feet before she fled the scene.

Authorities say some witnesses followed Gray and were able to flag down police officers. The officers chased her and she eventually crashed her vehicle, say authorities.

She was apprehended and admitted to Prince George's County Hospital after police officers say she displayed "erratic behavior."

Gray was arrested on Sept. 9 in Rockville with the help of Montgomery County Police, say Prince George's County Sheriff's Office authorities. She is now being held on a $750,000 bond.
