So Alec Baldwin yelled at a New York photographer yesterday. Nothing noteworthy there.

Except the content of the screed was significant: It contained at least one homophobic slur - one if you're Baldwin, two if you're pretty much anyone else listening to his videotaped outburst, obtained by TMZ. Baldwin has maintained that he said "fathead," incidentally, not a universally derided epithet.

Via - where else? - a series of eerily emotionally devoid tweets, the actor has apologized. But Anderson Cooper, for one, isn't satisfied, tweeting this morning:

"Just read Alec Baldwin's latest excuses. They are actually so ridiculous they are funny."

GLAAD also doesn't seem convinced, telling TMZ in a statement: "Mr. Baldwin can't lend his support for equality on paper while degrading gay people in practice. It's clearly time he listens to the calls from so many LGBT people and allies to end this pattern of anti-gay slurs."
