(WUSA9) -- Virginia State Police say there's a crash on the northbound side of I-95 at the Prince William Parkway in the HOV lanes. It's minor in nature but they had to shut down the HOV lanes for the time being to wait for a tow truck to arrive at the scene and get some help.
State police say they are seeing tons of minor accidents all around town, and slipping, especially on the ramps.
We had a crash earlier Tuesday morning on the Outer Loop ramp to 355 that shut down that ramp.
The ramp that comes off the northbound George Washington Parkway to the Inner Loop is always hazardous so be aware of those kinds of situations.
Reggie Sanders with DDOT said they're basically dealing with a lot of slush. They're concerned with sidewalks as well, so clear up your sidewalk and also your car before you head out.
