WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- It seems more people prefer to work for a male boss over a female boss, according to a new Gallup survey found.
The organization asked more than 2,000 Americans which gender they preferred working for. Thirty-five percent said they prefer male bosses while less than a quarter said they preferred female bosses.
It's not all bad news for women in leadership positions: that's the highest number ever recorded in favor of women bosses since Gallup started asking in 1953. Back then, 66 percent said they preferred male bosses while five percent said they preferred female bosses.
