ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WUSA9) -- The U.S. Marshal Service has arrested a man who they say is a sexual predator who targeted a minor in Fairfax County.

Jason Rouse, 21, was arrest on charges of sexual battery of a minor, object sexual penetration of a minor and forcible sodomy, officials said.

A warrant for Rouse's arrest was issued on October 31 by the Fairfax County Police Department, officials said.

Officials say that Rouse targeted a three-month old baby in Fairfax County for these crimes on June 2.

On Nov. 4, Fairfax County police requested the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Service's fugitive task force to help find this suspect.

On Nov. 12, U.S. Marshals located Rouse living with a family member on 213th Street in Queens Village, NY. Police say he was seen in a jacket and face mask that only showed his eyes.

Rouse was arrested without incident and awaits extradition to Fairfax County.

In response to this capture, Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal John Bolen for E/VA stated, "It is all in a day's work for the U.S. Marshals.  We routinely demonstrate that we possess the most rapid and farthest reaching fugitive apprehension capabilities in the world."
