(WUSA9) -- A week-old shire horse foal made a rare appearance in England on Friday.
Once a common sight in the United Kingdown, shire horses are now classified as 'at risk' by the Rare Breed Survival Trust.
On Friday, Matt Cardy took photos of the foal for Getty Images. See the baby horse rest her head on her mother Orla at Cornwall's Crealy Adventure Park near Wadebridge, England.
The yet-to-be-named filly foal, bred in a breeding program by the adventure park as part of a endangered species protection project, will be one of less than 300 predicted to be born in the country this year, we are told.
