SUITLAND, Md. (WUSA) -- Prince George's County police arrested 27-year-old Jonathan Blades and charged him with first degree murder in the death of 19-year-old Darryl Nicholas McCoy in Suitland, Md.
Blades, who is from Gaithersburg, was arrested in Temple Hills on Monday. He is being held at the Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro on a no bond status, say police.
MCoy was found lying in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Jan. 5 at approximately 2:18 p.m. when officers responded to the 2000 block of Brooks Drive to check on the welfare of an unresponsive male. McCoy had a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
