BOWIE, Md. (WUSA) -- "I didn't mean to do it," murder suspect Alexis Simpson said, right after she plunged a sharp object into Dominique Frazier, according to charging documents.
The whole argument began when Frazier, 18, of Washington, was playing music in the common area of her dorm suite at Bowie State University Thursday evening, charging documents stated.

Simpson walked into the bathroom and turned down the music. When Frazier asked Simpson to turn the music back on, she simply said "no," then an argument ensued among the roommates in the suite.
Frazier and another roommate pushed Simpson into her bedroom and shut the door on her. When Simpson got out of the bedroom, she was holding what looked like a knife, according to charging documents.
Simpson started swinging the sharp object toward Frazier, and that's when Frazier grabbed her neck and the blood started flying, according to the charging documents.
"I didn't mean to do it, you all know what I've been through and you all jumped me," Simpson said according to the charging documents.
Frazier staggered into the hallway and fell to the floor, where she remained until emergency crews arrived. She was taken to the hospital, where she was later pronounced dead from the stab wound.
Simpson is in jail, being charged with murder.
