WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Actress and animal lover Betty White will get her own wax figure at Madame Tussauds this week.
Tuesday morning, her figure will be unveiled at Madame Tussauds D.C. at 1001 F Street, NW by Washington Humane Society CEO Lisa LaFontaine. WHS will have its mobile adoption center, 'Adopt Force One', outside the attraction.
Betty White is best known for playing Sue Ann Nivens on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Rose Nylund on The Golden Girls. She now plays as Elka Ostrovsky on Hot in Cleveland. That role won her two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
White has also won six Emmy Awards and is the only woman to have won an Emmy in all performing comedic categories.
