ASHBURN, Va. (AP) - Washington Redskins nose tackle Barry Cofield shakes his head at the notion of facing a Dallas Cowboys offense coming off a 48-point game.

Cofield and the Redskins - whose defense is ranked last in the NFL - play the Cowboys on Sunday night. Dallas quarterback Tony Romo threw for a club-record 506 yards in a 51-48 loss to Denver.

Says Cofield: "We're going to try to make them one-dimensional, but if the one dimension can throw for 500 and five touchdowns, it's not really ideal. ... We've got to make big plays when they arise, and we're going to count on our offense to be the offense we know they can be."

Cofield's game has improved since he shed the huge cast he wore on his broken right hand.
