(USA TODAY SPORTS) -- Jacoby Jones spoke out about the party bus incident where he was hit with a bottle, starting a firestorm of questions about Jones' actions and the Ravens' leadership.

Jones talked about it on his radio show, as transcribed by the Baltimore Sun.

"I'm going to take the responsibility that I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. There was no altercation. There's nothing wrong. I did nothing wrong but I take responsibility for being in wrong place at the wrong time. Enough said. I apologize to my teammates and everybody."

Jones was careful in his wording to say he was in "the wrong place at the wrong time," which is obviously not a denial that something happened (although he clearly denies there was any "altercation," which triggered much of the snarky analysis on Monday afternoon.

But Jones didn't actually do anything wrong. If an adult wants to be on a bus with a stripper named Sweetpea, there is nothing stopping him - aside from the persistent threat of any late-night scenario going sideways and, of course, the very real consequence of driving his coach nuts.

Jones' only lingering misstep at this point is thinking an incident like this won't get people talking.
