WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) -- The Campaign for Commercial-Free Childhood wants the government to take a closer look at those mobile apps for babies.
The advocacy group says those smart phone apps will not turn your baby into a pint-size Einstein.
They believe infants need active, hands-on play for their creative development.
But, opponents disagree. They say while electronics are not a substitute for human interaction, apps can help with a child's development.
