BALTIMORE, MD (WUSA)-- More young women diagnosed with breast cancer are opting for a full mastectomy, which is having both breasts removed.

New research says these women in early stages of the disease can save their breasts.

Dr. Steven Feigenberg, an associate professor of radiation oncology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, joined 9NEWS NOW's Andrea Roane, with what options young women battling breast cancer have.
